Every year the Downey Rose Float Association invites all of our members to submit a design that aligns with the Tournament of Roses theme, this year the tournament’s theme is Turning the Corner. After we collect all of our member’s proposed designs we invite all members to vote and we submit the winner to the tournament for review. This year the winning design is Bee Inspired, by Jason Redfox.

Redfox was inspired by the importance of bees in our environment. Redfox’s design includes a large comb with bees working around it. The large purple flowers represent catmint and the blue water.
